A thoughtful, dynamic educator and administrator, Mr. Deepak Singh brings to Tritya Group of Institutions rich experience in leading curricular and programmatic change in educational institutions. Mr. Deepak Singh goal at the administrative level has always been to create educational experiences that awaken young minds to their personal sense of mission and purpose. Mr. Deepak Singh aspires to an education that is a transformation and not a mere transaction; an education that is preparation for a lifetime of learning. His ideal education is one that inculcates in students the knowledge, skills, values, and competencies of a lifelong learner. In a rapidly changing world, students need to learn to be adaptable, creative, collaborative, open minded and innovative, in addition to acquiring traditional academic knowledge.
Mr. Deepak Singh believes it is not sufficient to educate students who are going to be academically brilliant, nail every standardised test and get great transcripts, but also enable students to be resilient, self-confident, able to handle adversity, uncertainty, or ambiguity, who can learn to navigate a new and challenging situation and thus his commitment to social, emotional, and ethical learning (SEEL) – to educate and nurture the whole person.
Mr. Deepak Singh has more than 15 years’ experience in delivering higher education in Event Management & PR industry. He also has a rich experience in research, consultancy, and training – both at the academic level and corporate level. He has the passion of enhancing the quality of graduates from TIEM to fulfil the business needs of event management industry. With the skills of resilience, adaptability, and lifelong learning attitudes, to prepare the graduates for their future jobs through embedding employability skills across the curriculum. Currently, Mr. Deepak Singh is Academic Director at Tritya Institute of Event Management, TIEM Delhi, previously worked as the Marketing Head in TCS, Gurugram, to help the company to grow in Experiential marketing and hospitality field.
He gained his MBA in Sales and MBA in Marketing from the Symbiosis Pune, India, and received his PGD Management in 2007 from Pune Business School. He has experience in teaching subjects like Event Management, Experiential Marketing, Public Relations and Wedding Planning courses at graduate, post-graduate and professional levels and has served various Institutions in different capacities at various higher education institutions, including Tritya Group of Institutions, Asia Pacific, Impact Education and Promise Better Marks & Personality. His vision is to shape the future of Higher Education Business Model with four pillars: Employability underpins everything we do at the Tritya Institute of Event Management, TIEM, the students are the heart of everything we do, real-world education, inside and outside the classroom and positive impact in society.
His mission is for graduates to come out of TIEM and hit the ground running fully equipped with Academic Qualification, Real world experiences and Professional Qualification. His teaching and innovative specialisms and interests are helping students to gain the dream career in event management field. He has published more than 50 research papers in academic journals and given several conference presentations at seminars and conferences, mainly in the areas of scope of event management and wedding planning industry in India.
