A career counsellor with six years of industrial and academic experience, Ms. Manpreet Kaur provides career guidance to young aspirants seeking employment in event management, the aviation industry, public relations, human resource management, and wedding planning.
She has completed her master’s degree in Arts and secured more than a 9.7 CGPA into the final year semester and holds a PG diploma in digital marketing too. She was associated with various dance and cultural societies of DU as a mentor and panel member. Using this prior experience, she is much more capable of guiding students to choose the desired and best career opportunities in the field of event management, hospitality management, and public relations management.
She started her journey as a career counsellor in 2018. She worked as a business development executive before joining TIEM and guided early-stage job seekers facing uncertainty about their employment prospects. It is common for career counsellors to help students to make careers in the event management field, but they can also assist established workers seeking to pivot into alternative careers like aviation or the marine industry.
